Repeatedly logging in??? Iphone6 SE

Recommended Posts

Litjonwhitrou

It started about three months ago, I only use HPOC on my mobile and it’s usually fine, occasionally I get bumped out of ebay or HPOC and have to log in. I have good set up with passwords so no drama.

Now I’m home with WiFi log in to HPOC and it comes up with a message at the top, padlocked but says ‘non secure site - login anyway?’ So used to scam PayPal crap I checked then logged in with no problems, go to work and have to log in again, if I’m home for a few days the login stays fine but it’s whenever I change from one data stream so 4G back to WiFi etc it’s like I get bumped back out again?

About a year ago I had to set up my yahoo mail account as accepted low security because yahoo and Apples idea of secure was different. There was loads of stuff on the internet to explain, I’ve googled this problem and find no reference of it?

cheeeeeeers :)

Cheers mr S, it is - I think it was an update thing that’s kicked it off. We’ve just had a recent one and I was vaguely hoping that would sort it but seemingly not. The only weird thing is the lack of other awareness of it - I only log into one online forum so I can’t see if it’s a forum thing specific to me or just a cross between invision/Apple/internet etc?

Also I’m aware when googling for stuff the wording needs to be right so wasn't sure if i was just off with my keywords :(

You may need to use a drop down box beside the padlock and select this is a trusted site

There's 2 parts to Jons query. One's the non-secure thing, thats just the warning that the sites a standard http site not https. I need to look into this when i get more time.

Second one is his browser prompting him to log in all the time. I dont get that on any browser on any device, i can chop and change at will and they all stay logged in. What browser are you using, have you tried a different one to compare?

Maybe he has it set not to remember logon details?  I have this option set so have to login with user an p/w everytime I visit the site.

I do select no to save passwords just out of habit, I like that even on the mobiles it has the checkbox for ‘not recommended for shared computers’ :)

Cheers for looking into it but it does seem to be a bit specific to me, I will re check all my settings etc

I always say no to ‘remember password for this site’ as a default - I’ve selected yes in case that kept me logged in, it doesn’t but it makes it one click to sign in which is loads less hassle

Will persevere!
